In an ongoing effort to improve communication with state legislators and legislative staff, AFSA has joined the National Conference of State Legislatures Foundation for State Legislatures as a Sponsor and the NCSL Foundation's Banking and Financial Services Partnership Project.

The Partnership Project "provides an opportunity for state legislators, legislative staff and Foundation for State Legislatures Partners to address a variety of banking and financial services issues through meetings and through the development of both print and electronic products."

In addition to hosting a booth at the NCSL Annual Convention (for the second year in a row), this will provide AFSA with an opportunity to participate with other Banking Partners (including the American Bankers Assn., AARP and CUNA) to bring a balanced message to the NCSL members concerning the financial services industry.
