The AFSA Conference has become "the" industry event each May—attracting over 100 investors. The conference opened with a keynote address from Stan O'Neal, chairman of the board & chief executive officer with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. and closed with Fox News political analyst Tony Snow. All four rating agencies sponsored the conference and presented workshops on different segments of the finance industry. Special thanks to DBRS, FitchRatings, Moody's Investors Services, and Standard & Poor's for their contributions. For the first time, an evening was kept open for investors and issuers to meet in smaller networking opportunities.
