GMAC's Farmer Receives AFSA Appreciation Award
Jim Farmer, who is retiring from GMAC Financial Services as Vice President, Merchandising, Advertising & Communications, received an AFSA Appreciation Award during a meeting of the AFSA Marketing Committee held October 26 in San Francisco as part of the 2004 Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference. Lynne Strang, AFSA's vice president of communications, presented the award to Farmer in recognition of his support for AFSA and the AFSA Education Foundation, for his contributions to the automotive financial services industry, and for his long-time service on the Marketing and Public Communications Committees. Farmer will continue to serve as a consultant to GMAC on special projects, including those related to financial literacy.
