The Jump$tart Coalition^® for Personal Financial Literacy has announced that it's kicking off its second decade as the country's premier financial literacy coalition with its gala annual awards dinner. This year's event will be held April 5, 2006 at the Renaissance, Washington DC Hotel. The hotel (located at 999 9th Street, NW, Washington, DC) should provide the perfect venue for this year's festivities. The networking reception, always a fun and worthwhile event, once again starts at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner following at 7:30.

One highlight of each year's event remains the presentation of the Jump$tart awards, including, of course, the federal legislator awards, the state coalition of the year and the coveted William E. Odom Award. The appropriate nominating forms are available on the Jump$tart Web site. Please note: the deadline for nominations is earlier this year, and the presentation will be one of the focuses of the night.
