DHI COMPUTING SERVICE, INC. FORMS NEW CONSUMER FINANCE
DIVISION
Provo, UT – DHI Computing Service, Inc. (DHI), a pioneer and
leading processor of agricultural, banking, and medical records for over 51
years, recently formed a new division, GOLDPoint Systems, to focus on industrial
banks and consumer finance companies in response to the diverse and continually
changing needs of the banking and finance industries. Under the direction of
newly appointed president Jeff Collinsworth, GOLDPoint joins DHI subsidiaries
DHI-Provo, FPS GOLD, and PCIS GOLD.
For three years, DHI has
simultaneously served banking institutions and finance companies via its FPS
GOLD division. Due to the ongoing emergence of specific new banking and consumer
finance regulations, GOLDPoint Systems has been established as a means of
customizing products and services for DHI’s clients. FPS GOLD and GOLDPoint will
operate independently of each other and be completely devoted to serving their
own industries.
“We are excited about this new division and the
ability it gives us to focus on the differing goals, needs, and requirements of
these industries,” says Lynn Crandall, president and CEO of DHI. “This
restructuring will help our managers better utilize the opportunities in these
fields and streamline our products for each market.”
GOLDPoint offers
clients customized products to originate new loans, service loans, perform all
G/L activity, internet solutions, utilize a comprehensive deposit system, and
many more. These products and services have allowed DHI to add nearly 400
offices specializing in industrial banking and consumer finance to its
state-of-the-art system over the past few years. GOLDPoint clients, which
process data for over a million accounts on a monthly basis and have originated
over 420,000 loans, will use the GOLDPoint® line, supervised by David Fietkau,
senior vice president of Product Development, to handle and provide all types of
products and services to bring in funds for their institutions. They will also
work with Ken Jorgensen, named senior vice president of Client Services, for all
customer service-related needs.
Crandall believes GOLDPoint fills a
much-needed void in the industrial banking and consumer finance industry as the
new division is uniquely positioned to help organizations better serve
customers, grow their business, and meet regulatory
requirements.
“This new division offers our company an even greater
ability to serve our clients,” notes Crandall. “We look forward to seeing this
plan in action and watching it provide each of our customers with the best
possible products and
services.”
