For the first time, the AFSA Education Foundation participated in the 18th Annual NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo in the "Financial Health Pavilion." More than 78,000 people attended the weekend expo at the convention center in Washington, DC. It was held January 14-15. Many of those who approached the foundation's exhibit booth expressed interest in both the foundation's financial literacy brochures and the MoneySKILL^TM personal finance course.

The NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo is a community outreach event created by NBC4 to motivate children and adults alike to take charge of their physical, mental and health. The financial health pavilion was added two years ago.
