Now's the Time to Register for AFSA's
'06 Management Development Programs

Executives from AFSA's member companies have a choice of three excellent programs taking place this year:

Executive Presence Leadership Program, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, May 4 – 5, 2006

This day-and-a-half session will help individuals develop the skills and strategies necessary for developing an executive "presence." Executives will learn how the verbal, visual and vocal work together to convey information in a confident manner. An addition to this year's session will be writing strategies geared to help individuals outline, develop and create efficient and effective written communication. Also, James F. Smith, Ph.D., a global economic forecaster, will discuss the impact of The Federal Open Market Committee's decision on May 10 and its likely effects on financial services businesses.

National Institute on Consumer Credit Management, Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, June 4 – 9, 2006

This is a two-year program offered to and designed for high-potential branch managers, team leaders and supervisors who are on the "fast track" in their career development.

AFSA Management Development Program, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, July 9 – 21, 2006

This two-week program builds on the current managerial effectiveness of high-potential middle managers while preparing them for future leadership roles within their organizations. This program features a "Ropes Course," an outdoor experience that focuses on leadership, teamwork, problem solving and self discovery. Please also see the brochure.
