AFSA's State Government Affairs department regularly submits comment letters on state bills and state agencies' regulations that affect consumer credit. Periodically, SGA comments on federal rules that could directly affect the states. Members have the opportunity to provide input on AFSA's comment letters before they are finalized.
Occasionally, AFSA testifies at financial services hearings held in the states.
